Events Center Patron Services Supervisor (PART-TIME, BENEFITS)
Job Summary: Patron Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all ticketing and front-line customer services. Works closely with The Ute Theater and Event Center Manager to ensure that all patrons, donors, clients, and invited guests have the best possible experience from start to finish.

Experience and Training: Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Work Experience: Must possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in the hospitality or service industry, including direct customer service experience. Consideration will be given for an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Job Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and MVR with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Valid Colorado Driver License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Must obtain Training in Responsible Serving of Alcohol (TIPS Certification) and become ServSafe Food Safety Certified within six months of hire. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

This position is part-time (35 hours per week) with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance. According to policy, retirement, vacation, sick, and holiday pay are 75% of full-time benefits. Wage range is $26.02-$27.33 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is open until 12/21/23.

Theater and Event Technician I
Job Summary: Theater and Event Technician 1 is a part-time position responsible for providing technical support for theatrical rehearsals, production and events at the Ute Theater and Events Center. Other responsibilities include ensuring proper use and upkeep of stages, carpentry equipment, and the installation and removal of necessary equipment. Other duties include assisting with audio/visual and stage lighting systems as needed and assisting in the maintenance and theatrical machinery.

Experience and Training:

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Training in Responsible Serving of Alcohol as described in Rifle Municipal Code, or ability to obtain such training at the first opportunity offered in Rifle.

Job Requirements: Must be 18 years of age if serving alcohol. Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to pass background check and MVR with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: At least 1 years of related experience, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.

Part Time. No benefits. Wage is $16.72-$19.22 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. Open until filled.

Theater and Event Technician II
Job Summary: Theater and Event Technician 2 is a part-time position responsible for providing technical support for theatrical rehearsals, production and events at the Ute Theater and Events Center. Position operates as a Crew Lead if other personnel are working. Other responsibilities include ensuring proper use and upkeep of stages, carpentry equipment, and the installation and removal of necessary equipment. Other duties include assisting with audio/visual and stage lighting systems as needed and assisting in the maintenance and theatrical machinery.

Experience and Training:

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Requirements: Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to pass background check and MVR with results that are acceptable to the City of Rifle. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: At least 3 years of related experience, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.

Ute Events Center Server and Bartender
Job Summary: Serves alcoholic, nonalcoholic beverages, snacks and food to Ute Events Center guests in a professional, responsible manner and ensures they have a great experience when attending an event at the Ute. Responsible for positive guest interactions while accurately mixing and serving beverages in a friendly and efficient manner. Provides guests with responsible alcohol service while delivering exceptional customer service.

Experience and Training:

Job Requirements: Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within six months of hire. Must be 18 years of age if serving alcohol. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. Able to pass a background check with acceptable results to the City of Rifle.

Work Experience in Positions Similar or Related to This Job: At least 2 years of related experience, or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
