SUMMARY:Summer Theater Camp - The Secret Garden
DESCRIPTION:Camp July 17-21 @ 10-2:30\nPerformances July 21 & 22  \n \nCamp is open to all students entering grades 1-12 Fall of 2023. Camp starts Monday\, July 17th at 10 am! Plan on arriving at the theater a few minutes early the first day to check-in and provide us with any missing contact information when you drop off your student. Students entering 1st Grade this fall will need to be picked up daily at Noon (Friday at 1:00 pm). All other campers will be done at 2:30 pm with the option of staying for workshops Tues-Thurs until 3:30. Please send your 8–18-year-old children with a packed lunch. Younger students will leave before lunch each day. Please only register for camp if you are able to attend every day and both performances. \nPerformances will be Friday\, July 21 at 6pm and Saturday\, July 22 at 3 pm at The Ute Theater and Events Center. Tickets are on sale now! \nThe Secret Garden\, an original Missoula Children’s Theatre rendition\, is a joyful retelling of a story of hope and celebration and all good things in life. Mistress Mary Quite Contrary embarks on a journey from India to her uncle’s home in England.  Along the way she makes friends with the hilarious Canadian Geese and the colorful Giant Bugs that Rock! In time she learns to appreciate everything around her\, including the Moor Animals and the helpful Fireflies. Add to that a good healthy dose of caring\, and what happens? Colin\, Martha\, Archibald – well\, the whole household – begin to enjoy the return of health and happiness in a garden carefully tended…until it blossoms once more.
