Whitesnake’s Joel Hoekstra and Devil City Angels’ Brandon Gibbs are taking the music scene by storm with their powerhouse acoustic rock show. Their show is high-energy, with searing guitar riffs and feature a wide variety of music from bands each of them have been a part of, along with innovative original music. Having just completed a very successful UK/Ireland tour in April of 2023, and a European Tour in October that included 15 shows in 17 days spanning 10 countries, the two played for packed venues and numerous sold-out shows! The US has also seen firsthand what these two guitar extraordinaries are capable of as they have been performing together since 2017 and venues welcome the energy, they bring to each and every show.

Many, especially in the Rock Music world, recognize the name Joel Hoekstra immediately for his current tenure as lead guitarist in Whitesnake and playing arenas each winter with Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Joel also joined Cher for her Las Vegas residency. In addition, Joel is also known for his highly regarded touring work with Foreigner, Night Ranger and an original member of Broadway’s Rock of Ages Band. He currently is also a member of Revolution Saints with Dean Castronovo (Journey) Jeff Pilson (Foreigner/Dokken.) He has also received a litany of guitar/musician high honors and awards and is considered currently among the best Rock guitarists worldwide!!

Brandon Gibbs is no stranger to the music scene as he is a powerhouse front man with searing vocals and blazing guitar riffs. Brandon was asked to sing back up for Poison during the highly acclaimed 2022 Stadium Tour that featured Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett. In addition, Brandon is also the front man and co-writer for supergroup Devil City Angels (w/Rikki Rockett and Tracii Guns). Brandon commands the stage as the lead singer and often has the audience, laughing and crying with his charismatic charm both on stage and off. Brandon’s music has been featured on ESPN and he continues to write and record new music.

While this show appears to have an intimate vibe, don’t let that fool you; the sound is bigger than ever with a stage presence that radiates from this duo making their performance a “must see!” This is an acoustic rock show that does not disappoint.
