Welcome to the 50th year of the historic Will the Circle Be Unbroken record. It started in Boulder, Colorado at the famed club Tulagi in 1971 when John McEuen asked Earl Scruggs and Doc Watson if they would record with Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Their simple ‘yes’ that week led to converging eight weeks later in Nashville and in six hot August days they recorded 36 songs for the album that is now in the Grammy Hall of Fame and Library of Congress!
