Due to extreme fire danger, the City of Rifle has decided to cancel the annual July 3rd fireworks show. There are still plenty of free activities for all ages scheduled for the 3rd. Come early and enjoy the afternoon visiting Rifle businesses, restaurants and the park prior to the show. Centennial Park is a beautiful venue with a great playground at 300 W 5th St. The Centennial Park water spray pad will operate for extended hours that night until 8:30 pm.

Symphony in the Valley will present a patriotic concert beginning at 7:00 pm at the Centennial Park Amphitheater. There is limited seating so you are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

The Long Run, “Colorado’s Tribute to the Eagles

Doors open at the Ute Theater at 8:00 pm for The Long Run, “Colorado’s Tribute to the Eagles.” The first 400 guests will be admitted for the 9:00 pm show. The FREE show is General Admission standing room only. The band will play an hour set with a 15 minute intermission before another hour of performing. The symphony’s ensemble, “Noodle Soup” will be playing outside of the Ute Theater at 8:30 pm.
