The Ute Theater is beyond excited to welcome the Freddy Jones Band to Western Colorado!

At the core of the Freddy Jones Band is founding member Marty Lloyd, the voice and songwriter behind their most iconic hit, “In a Daydream.”  He is joined by member and longtime bassist Rich Ross, who in his career has toured with The Samples and many others!

Now fully independent, the Freddy Jones Band is embracing complete creative freedom—writing, recording, and touring on their own terms, free from the limitations of a major label. Their commitment to authenticity and connection continues to resonate with audiences nationwide.

The Freddy Jones Band celebrates a milestone in 2025, marking 30 years since the release of their breakthrough album North Avenue Wakeup Call (1995) and 10 years since the fan-favorite Never Change (2015). Both albums were produced by multi-Grammy-winning producer Justin Neibank, whose admiration for the band remains strong. Reflecting on his work with them, Neibank noted, “Never Change is the best record I’ve worked on in years.”
