ZINZIN – Friday, June 19th
ZINZIN is Western Colorado’s go to group for Mardi Gras, Crawfish Boils, B-B-Q’s, Dances, Fais Do Do’s, Weddings, divorce parties, and well, anytime a good time needs to be had. Cajun Two Steps and Waltzes are the order of the day, although they throw in a variety of Louisiana styles, including Blues and Zydeco.
These musicians have been entertaining Colorado’s Western Slope in various incarnations for over a quarter of a century. Bring your dancin’ shoes, a festive mood, and “Laissez les Bon Ton Roulet!”
The Zinzin sound is eclectic, acoustic, and focuses on the music of Southwest Louisiana. Drawing from extensive backgrounds in Folk, Country, Jazz, Classical & Blues, Zinzin explores Cajun, Creole, Zydeco, Blues, and the resulting gumbo is simply irresistible dance music. Get your dancin’ shoes…or Kick ’em off!
Thank you to our sponsors for pulling together to offer a COVID friendly opportunity for local performers!
